So another list of Cons I want to hit this year and the plans going on with them……
- Katsucon (Feb. 15th - 17th) - All set and ready…just waiting for the days and packing next weekend. Got a free pass since I will be helping someone at the Artist Alley.
- SDCC (July 17th - 21st) - The Big One, so apparently tickets will go live Feb. 16th at noon….this is a problem since I will be at Katsucon, so my chances have dropped from 40% to a possibly 10% of getting weekend tickets (since is weekend or nothing).
- Dragon*Con (Aug. 30th - Sept. 2nd) - This one looks more likely than SDCC, and well I was checking online stuff about it and I’m interested.
- Baltimore Comic-Con (Sept. 7th - 8th) - IF I make it to either of the two above I won’t be going to this one….anyways, this is one I wasn’t able to go last year and I was hoping to make it this year. But as you can see things might not work for this one as well…
- NYCC (Oct.10th-13th) - My “birthday” Con and the MUST every year! Not missing it for anything…also this year I will get the 4 day pass and attend Thursday “preview night” after work.
So yeah, as you can see I’m switching my Con interests from Anime to Comic ones…since well, I enjoy more Comic Cons nowadays. Well let’s see how going to either SDCC or D*C goes….
When asked what Superhero names they would choose, these were the answers:
Misha - Assbutt-butt
Jared - Chisel-Chest
Jensen - “Jared should be Captain Thunderpants”
Everything else is pointless……lol
So the Young Justice panel from DC already wrapped and we have some interesting pieces of info from it.
-Raven will join the Teen Titans soon.
-Teen Titans #0 will look into Tim’s origin. Also it was confirmed that in the New 52 history he didn’t actually was a Robin (or at least officially) and rather went into the Red Robin persona very fast.
-Red Hood and the Outlaws#0 will look into Jason’s origin (which the writer said is the saddest thing he has written), also both Jason and Tim will be involved heavily in “Death of a Family” story-arc in Batman (return of Joker), leaving Arsenal and Firestar to have solo adventures over Red Hood and the Outlaws.
-Ravagers #0 will look into Beast Boy and Terra’s relationship as well as explore Beast Boy powers (since he is now connected to the Red). Also they will become prominent characters in the upcoming year.
-Superboy #0 will tell Conner’s origin and also (as well during the Superman panel) are informed that clones in Krypton aren’t welcomed and this will bring sort of an antagonist relationship between him and Supergirl.
-Supergirl will end up having a Fortress of Solitude of her own, also (as said at Superman panel) she will interact more in the upcoming year with Kal and Conner.
-Blue Beetle #0 will give the armor (Khaji-Da) it’s own origin as well as introducing a cosmic DC character to the New 52.
