Comics Solicitations! - DC Comics
Is Zero Month in DC! Issues revert to #0 to gives us a look into the origin, revelations or set up future stories for each issue. Also 4 issues are going away (JLI, Voodoo, Resurrection Man & Captain Atom) to give space for the “Third Wave” (Talon, Sword of Sorcery, Phantom Stranger & Team 7).
Talon #0 - Really interested about this since it comes from “Night of Owls”, as there is one Talon that has escaped from the control of the Court and thus the hunt starts. Big plus is that Snyder is co-plotting.
The Phantom Stranger #0 - Another interesting book, as it will not only expand on the origin of the Stranger that we got during FCB. But also will tie with Pandora and the Trinity of Sin.
Justice League #0 - Well this is the definitive origin of Shazam! (I guess the ending to the back-ups in the current JL). As well as also giving us the origin of Pandora and her connection to the Trinity of Sin!!!
Aquaman #0 - Not only this issue shows Arthur’s first encounter with Atlantis, but also this issue will as well set up stuff for the next story-arc.
The Flash #0 - The New52 origin of the Flash! And also a look on how the death of his mother shaped Barry for the future hero he will become.
Earth 2 #0 - This issue focus on the arrival of the Apokolips forces into this Universe and their first battle with this Earth’s Trinity (although I’m curious about that 4th character identity).
Batman #0 - A look into how young Bruce Wayne starts creating his arsenal to fight crime as Batman.
Nightwing #0 - Yeah, I’m picking up Nightwing. So this issue gives us the New52 origin of Dick Grayson!
Green Lantern #0 - We get the introduction of this New Lantern (he carries a gun?!) as well as preparing us for the Third Army.
Green Lantern Corps #0 - The New52 origin of Guy! Also one thing from that origin is set up to haunt him in the present…
Green Lantern: New Guardians #0 - Kyle assembles a new team of “New Guardians” (OMG Carol has a new, less slutty suit!) to take on the Guardians and their Third Army!
Red Lanterns #0 - A look into Atrocitus past and how that will shape the future of the Red Lanterns.
Demon Knights # 0 - We get the full story on how Etrigan and Jason Blood became bonded while there is a war between Lucifer and Merlin.
Yeah, I’m dropping Firestorm and Teen Titans. Still on the iffy side on Firestorm, but Teen Titans is a for sure dropping.
